  • Joshua and Parker are the most proven heavyweights right now

They fought the best competition. I don`t say they are N.1. and 2. they are just the most proven. You win some, you lose some, that is what happens when you fight often top competition.

Makhmudov failed badly at first step up, Yoka also. Wilder got beaten by both world class fighters he ever faced. It is not easy to compete at high level. It is easier to say you are good while fighting bums.

Well Usyk beat Joshua ... TWICE. IMO, he is the most proven. Nobody who was semi awake in the Joshua vs. Parker fight years ago want to see them go at it again.

A 250+ division would have very few quality guys.

Most ppl dont know this but mma has a 206-265 Heavyweight division AND a 265+ Super Heavyweight division that you'll almost never see a fight in cuz everyone who can cuts weight to 265 & the 265+ guys are mostly untalented freak shows or anomalies.

So if you had a 250+ division like Moorer suggests you'd probably have a lot of lesser talented freak show guys at 250+ in uninteresting fights while the more serious guys cut to 250 to fight at HW where more competition & more guys are at.

He won against one top under a questionable referee in their second fight and undoubtedly won under a shady decision by the same referee against Dubois - he is far from proven, but questionable.

The OP has a reason to claim that for AJ and Parker.

The only shady thing about either of those fights was the one judge who scored Usyk/AJ 2 for AJ.

            Fury, Joshua, and Parker.

I don't know what crack these fools smoke to say things like "Usyk beat Joshua twice so he's proven"

You know anyone who only has a record of 5-0? Unproven, mother ****er. We've seen him do well against three styles. Proven, solid, great HW

I'm favoring Usyk against Fury and all, but let's be real, anyone doing that is going out on a limb for the relatively unknown HW against the well known and well proven HW we've seen fight and adapt to all sorts of HW styles.

Usyk needs more HW fights to be proven.

Had Franny beaten Tyson, guess what, he'd still be fairly well unknown and unproven. A good win proves you beat that one good fighter ... ffs.

Dr. Z Sometimes you're just a ****ing moron. This isn't a difference of opinion, ain't no fact gonna save you, you're a ****ing moron. 5 fights = Proven doe Moron.

Well, I agree with you when you say Usyk should be favored over Fury.

Joshua is easily more proven than Fury so.... Usyk beat that man twice.

Keep you dunce hat for yourself. Usyk is a proven pro. You are ignorant if you think he has not shown this vs. a skilled Super heavyweight.

Judging any fighter should be" a what have a lot to done lately " as in his five fights.

AJ is easily the most proven heavy, Parker sure, Whyte and Chisora not so far behind.

AJ is the most successful of the proven guys.

He is the most proven, best resume heavyweight in the post Klitschko era.

Well, in boxing there seems to be a weight where fighters become slower movers and that is not good. Endurance suffers too as does footwork. In them modern heavyweight division 265 lbs is close to that point of becoming too slow. 300 pounds or more is a weight I have not seen a truly talented fighter.
