    Top 5 US Heavyweights

    1. Andy Ruiz Jr.

    2. Deontay Wilder

    3. Jared Anderson

    4. Michael Hunter

    5. Jarell Miller

Would that be accurate after the weekend's fights, or have I missed out another top 5 boxer?

    I'd have Franklin above Miller

Ruiz is inactive, shouldn't be on the list.

I think the reality is any of those guys could beat Wilder.

Hard to say whos top. They all need to step it up now.

I would say maybe only Jared Anderson and that too depends on how he evolves.

Andy is too indisciplined to be any good again. Wilder probably calls it a day or comes for one last paycheck collection but has lost interest in the game. Hunter sounds similar. Miller is a question mark too. So, right now the US has no serious name in HW boxing and I do not see any upcoming championship material either. Boxing is not in the top-5 highest-paying sports in the US so that could be a reason.

Well, Wilder and Miller lost last night. You might have better luck picking the top 5 super models over 60.

I would say that Anderson is the best of a sorry lot. DUI and Gun charges non withstanding.

              Boxrec says:

              Jared
              Deontay
              Cassius Chaney lol
              Joe Cusumano lmao
              Michael Hunter

              Sh^ts bleak.

              Among active guys I'd have:

Deontay even tho he sh^t the bed yesterday
              Jared
              Jermaine Franklin
              Michael Hunter
              Big Baby Miller

Its definitely a bleak US HW era & specifically rn is sh^tty.

I think better prospects will be over a lot of these guys within 2 years .

When Sonny Conto and Richard Torrez Jr . Start stepping it up .

                    Right now ?

                    1. Anderson
                    2. Wilder
                    3. Miller
                    4. Franklin
                    5. Hunter

I’m not putting Ruiz bc he’s inactive,no one who’s purposely being inactive over a year should be on any list ,penalize them until they defeat a top rated guy or an opponent that’s been somewhat decent at least .

You could even make a case for Martin if he comes back in the mix . Right now many top guys are still green the seasoned guys are still a factor and Ortiz is not the boogeyman anymore he’s a ghost now you never see or hear him .

And is Wallin a U.S fighter ? If so this list has to be altered .
