That would mean that whover lands more punches wins..which we know is not true.
How many time have we seen a defensive fighter win a round by making the other fighter miss?
or by running? How about 3 knockdowns in 3 rounds but in the same rounds the other opponent had more hits?
All these scenarios have happened.

Margarito beat Cotto at his own game. Vasquez's face was worse than Cotto's after his third fight with Rafael Marquez. So I guess that means that Rafa was plastered up too huh? And if Margarito had loaded gloves when he beat Cotto, why would he constantly destroy Miguel's body? Resto had a head hunting game plan. I just loved to witness what I did after Jim Lampley called Cotto a Puerto Rican Julio Caesar Chavez. And Paul Williams beat Margarito in the same state that Margarito got busted with that substance in Cali. I don't like Margarito, but he fights with more balls than that little vacant belt scavenging maricon Jotto does. Jotto would've gotten KOd against Mosley like Margo did if he had the balls not to run.

Yea.. im a fan of both.. and seriously thought it was a great fight.. but still cant really find a reason to say Cotto lost the match.. Cotto just did what he had to do.. affective jab and great timing.. againts a great boxer.. Cotto came out the better man that night..
