the thing is just weird, if i was bivol and canelo said to me, i will only give u the same pay as last fight even tho u kicked my ass, i would be going straight to the media saying this clown wont offer me a fair price and wont budge from his pay offer, instead i read bivol wants 168, canelo says no to 168 so bivol 'should' say, ok u wont fight me at 168 then up your pay for 175 gingerino and lets do this, that should be the bottom line, but i didnt hear that from bivol, looks to me like he just walked away
"looks to me like he just walked away"... yes exactly!
"The unbeaten Kyrgyzstan native views a rematch with Alvarez as a fight that the Mexican icon needs, not him, because Bivol won their 12-round, 175-pound championship match so convincingly."Comment

maybe he could have then flexed that muscle and demanded say 5 mil for the rematch, thats what i would have done anywayComment

I find it hilarious that Bivol is telling us that he doesn't want to give Canelo a rematch even though Canelo did everything possible for the rematch and Bivol put the kibosh on it and yet people on here still blame Canelo and are saying that he doesn't want that smoke.... Just goes to show how Canelo haters logic works.... Baffling really.
Let’s not kid ourselves
This has nothing to do with hate , only common senseComment

Bivol pretty much admitting he never really wanted to run it back with the ginger even tho knowing thats another career record purse for a 'relatively' light work...or maybe it wasn't that 'light' after all at least from his 'fighter perspective'.Comment

Canelo seemed to want the rematch but only under his terms and it doesn't work that way. You want something from someone you have to make some concessions but his ego wouldn't let that happen.Comment
