but did bivol not rule out 175 completely and say 168 or no fight? I dont recall bivol saying u have to pay me more at 175 to get the rematch, did they even get into that stuff?

Trey Shaw, because every single post you make on this website is made with racist motives, your opinion means less than nothing.

Who passes on a chance to avenge a bad loss and handicap their opponent at the same time? Canelo, that’s who. Quack quack

Making Bivol an absolute low ball offer knowing he won’t take it tells everyone how little interest Canelo has in a Bivol rematch. Canelo knows what we all know, unless some seriously crooked scorecards are involved (not out of the question), he flat out can’t beat Bivol.

Idk, he dominated Alvarez, the scorecards were bs. He gave the Canman a chance at his belts, Saul and his fanboys said 175 was too much so Bivol said I'll come down to 168, just throw in some more cash. Ginger said no cause he wanted the same exact terms as the 1st fight.

Never even got past that. Canelo’s offer was the exact same as the first fight. Bivol said he wanted it at 168, and Canelo countered with “I’m the king! Nobody negotiates with me!” And then bitched to the media that Bivol was being “difficult.”

Just goes to show how Canelo haters logic works.... Baffling really.

In a perfect world Bivol would fight Beterbiev in April and Canelo would fight Benavidez in May. Winners would fight in September.

the thing is just weird, if i was bivol and canelo said to me, i will only give u the same pay as last fight even tho u kicked my ass, i would be going straight to the media saying this clown wont offer me a fair price and wont budge from his pay offer, instead i read bivol wants 168, canelo says no to 168 so bivol 'should' say, ok u wont fight me at 168 then up your pay for 175 gingerino and lets do this, that should be the bottom line, but i didnt hear that from bivol, looks to me like he just walked away

Though I would favor to beat Canelo in a rematch, this move by Bivol about being indifferent about the rematch is a predictable ploy to put himself in a better bargaining position if in fact negotiations take place. As to Canelo not wanting the rematch at 168 that too is predictable. If he fights and beats Bivol at 168 the bbitchingg and moaning would be defening -- he weight drained Canelo and so on. Plus he would be risking 4 belts at 168 while Bivol would be rising zero belts. There are two important facts here: One, there is little demand for a rematch with Bivol, and two there is huge demand for Canelo to a fight Benavidez. The reality is that Canelo can fight any contender and rake in a minimum of $30 million and sadly for Bivol he would have to fight at least 3 times to get paid more than Canelo's "low ball" offer.

he won 10 rounds and they only gave him 7. he knows if canelo just does a little better they will gift canelo the fight and canelo tried to lowball him with the same offer? if you are gonna rob him at least pay to steal his belt
