Plant was knocked out and dominated and Andrade had been MW champ for the past few years and Canelo started at 154. Does that mean Canelo isn’t the best 168 pounder in the world?

Also define pressure for me? I want to hear what nonsense you come up with. Name
one Cuban pro that did well against a pressure fighter like Benavidez? Casamayor, Gamboa, Dorticos?

you talk about spewing nonsense, you the one doing it.

There’s no karma in that scenario ans if Benavidez has done something wrong. And yeah, Morrell is wba regular champ, seems like he should be lined up to fight canelo too. They’re who canelo should be looking at, not a jmw, not a 40 yr old mw, not a C class Brit and definitely not Munguia or the depressed alcoholic charlo. Why aren’t either options for May? I think we know the answer.
Canelo clearly doesn't want to fight either one of them, So they should just fight each other. The sanction bodies are all up on Canelo nuts.

benavidez didn't knock plant out, actually he had a lot problems in the first few rounds, and andrade won two belts in vacant bouts, never won from a champion and hasn't done $h1t at 168. Well, I can name a least five Cubans off the top of my head better than benavidez, would you like to know? Since you're talking about specific fighters, Gamboa was a beast in his prime just like Casamayor, and Dorticos have a great career, Lara is a dog, involved in two fights of the year, Rigondeaux won his most important fight against a p4p and fighter of the year. Did you ever seen Napoles, Legra, Rodriguez, Florentino, LM Rodriguez, Ultiminio and countless others fight? You're full of $h1t.

I see now that Morrell has a question mark on him where in his last fight, he didnt do any drug trsting although it was allegedly in the contract. So if Benavidez fights him, he better get memo to go in his stash and get some super special undetectable vitamins so the playing field can be even...
Andre dirrell was last seen in Flint drinking Henny mixed with some of that rusty ass water out there

This is the same situation between Crawford and Ennis
There's a big difference, Crawford is a more accomplished and better boxer than benavidez, and Morrell jr has a much better pedigree, by far than ennis. Another big difference is that Morrell Jr is been a WBA mandatory and benavidez counterpart for over two years, also he is calling out the boogeyman not the cash-cow, no turning back at this point, maybe plant? I think he is too far ahead that the only way for them to move is forward, win, lose or draw. Look at andrade and because some of his own fault, he had a big fight past his prime, and at a higher weight that he should have been fighting, against a guy 10 years his junior. If he thinks he's ready I'm all for it.

Anyone looking at this unbiasedly can see David M looks like a top shelf talent, but his resume for where he's ranked, top 5, doesn't measure up.

He needs to fight other top ten guys, ex-belt holders &/or guys who fought for belts over these lesser guys he's been fighting. And thats not to diss the guy. I'm a fan & would love to see him fight the biggest name in the game or David B in a year or two & for a guy with only 10 fights his resume is great, BUT right now there is a giant gap between the guys he's fought & the guys he wants to fight & he needs to close that gap while he builds his name vs these better guys.

                Not talking anything skill wise
The situation as a whole is pretty similar
Both fighters in all reality have not fought the greatest opposition whether by choice or not and are call8ng out the big boys who have proven themselves already
Hoping both these fighters , if not given the opportunity of a Bud or Benny , will not settle and waste their careers waiting around
Didn’t work for GGG and won’t work for them

He fought the #1 and #2 contenders for the WBA, for whatever is worth, he just ko a guy that went the full distance with shishkin. If we want real challenges let's talk plant, benavidez or even mbilli, the division is that thin, deserving or proving himself has nothing to do for where he's at. He's going to go to the Lion den and comeback out with the head or on a stretcher, and then we all going to know.

Belt ranked guys means almost nothing to me & most ppl. He's fought zero top ten guys. Even David B when he was in a similar position as David M is now 18mos ago had fought a top ten guy or two (Gavril & Dirrell iirc). Sena is probably David M's best opp & he was ranked like 30 something on boxrec at the time they fought. We are going on & on with this, but anyone being reasonable has no argument there is a MASSIVE GAP between Sena level guys & David B & Alvarez. David M needs to fight some better guys to up his exp & not just get thrown into the deep end of the pool. That makes it a lose lose for those guys he wants to fight as well. If Alvarez & David B beat David M ppl will just say well of course they did David M had fought no one, his best W was over Sena ffs. David M's team needs to move him up in levels & theres at least a couple levels between the guys he's beaten with guys who've fought for belts, guys who've won belts & top ten guys he's not fought at all yet & the biggest fights to make at 168 in a year or two.

David Morell jr is not going to wait around, from the get go he has faced stiffer competition than anyone in his division, with only 10 fights, a lot of fans were talking crap and hoping he would lose when he fought a 22-0 guy, in his second fight and 12 rounds, then came caceres a 12-0 just fresh ftom beating jcc jr, then the 16-0 russian. The problem I see is canelo holding the division hostage. That's why I'd love to see benavidez vs canelo next. He has a regular belt, I don't heard anyone challenge him, so he have to move up for better or worse.
