The discussion is about Bomac not mentioning anything in regards to Boots , showing him respect
You do know that Bud is contractually obligated to fight Spence next , right ?
The fight is being planned for February and he has no other choice unless Spence backs out
So wtf ?

Who's avoiding him? He left the wbo rankings when Bud was making multiple mandatories and voluntaries. Bud offered him a fight on blk prime and Ennis and his dad turned it down.
Who has Ennis made an offer to and was turned down?

ZERO reason for Haney to leave 140 unless he can't make this weight comfortably either. 140 is loaded with possible legacy and money fights if he can hang around there for at least 2 years.. 147 blows, there's Boots and nobody else. Crawford and Spence are both gone and neither have any interest in Haney

They didn’t say nothing about ruining boots career, didn’t even entertain even ever fighting boots. We all know the rematch situation with Spence but I didn’t hear, “well once we clear up this rematch situation with Spence, bud will ruin boots career” what is that? Respect? Or some hoe sh.it? Guess you can choose to view it as you please, I see it one way
Honestly , the way I see it is Bud is 35 years old , got his biggest payday with Spence
Most likely gonna make something similar for the rematch although I see the same result
My point being , he’s looking for money fights and Boots , right now , doesn’t fulfill that criteria
Can’t see him having many fights left so trying to cash out is the name of the game at this moment

But but but …. Bud started his career at 135 just like Haney then moved to 140 just like Haney
and then 147 just like Haney will.
To be VERY clear, I agree that Bud will beat up Haney at any weight.

Spence was the bigger fighter to and we all see how that went for Errol.
boots is a email champ and happy about it.
That pretty sad as. He should have fought someone for that title.Last edited by ptek; 12-19-2023, 11:01 PM.
