Logically, Agpeko either has a brain aneurysm or he doesn't. If he doesn't,as 2 doctors say, why shouldn't he fight anyone? Fact remains, I don't feel comfortable about this one at all. If there is a scintilla of doubt, which there must be given the first doctor's call, don't throw your man in with someone that hits like a runaway bus. I think Agpeko coulda & shoulda took an easier fight.

I love boxing. I love boxing for the same 2 reasons I love the NFL and most other combat sports: The amazing skill and violence inherent in the sport and the fact I am an uncoordinated, unathletic moron who is in awe of people who can do this when I wish I was half a man enough to even try it.

But I do not want tragedy. Ever. I cannot imagine this being the last broadcast Showtime event and something bad happening. I am trusting the powers that be actually care enough about the sport and this man's health that he is actually clear and is ready to face a serious puncher who needs to make a statement.

Trusting, and maybe a small prayer....
