Ryder has a pretty good shot here but if Mungia happens to win it would be a bad matchup going against Canelo. Like you said he has no defense

He's seems to have a decent chin for lack of defense.

A Ryder win is a real possibility, although I do expect Munguia to win their match, it should be tooth, and nails to the final bell.

Only thing they'll notice is how full of **** team Munguia is, if they haven't been aware already.

Although Munguia is a good, and exciting fighter, he's not a great fighter, and him beating Ryder isn't putting anyone in his division on notice.
Fighters like Plant, Charlo, and a few other fighters I can't think of right now would be favored to beat Munguia if not knock him out altogether.
Munguia's defense sucks, and if it wasn't for his knockout power coming through for him in some tough fights he wouldn't be undefeated right now.
So Oscar can promote all he wants for Munguia, but we can see through the smoke screen, and that is that Munguia isn't the end all, be all, at 168 pounds.

That would be fire! Canelo vs. Crawford in May, Canelo vs. the winner in September!

Not a bad fight by any means, should be entertaining. Like Mungia to probably win, but hoping he sustains a cut or something to derail the possibility of a Canelo fight he has no business in landing.
