All Hearn can offer at 140 is Caterall, unless I'm forgetting someone? He's a good fighter but isn't going to generate the sort of payday Haney is looking for.

Haney has been smart so far sticking to short-term deals. Let's hope Arum (Teo) or GBP (Ryan) are willing to do a deal on those terms and not insist on something longer.

Haney is a free agent. He can fight anywhere. Hearn has no involvement when it comes to offers coming from PBC. Haney vs Davis, for example, will be a full-blown PBC fight. Same thing with offers coming from Top Rank.

yeah, the article is about Haney's promotional future, and he's talking Hearn. I'd love to see him stay as a free agent, even though there is no way Tank will ever fight him. If he's serious about 147, it's all PBC. 140 is all Top Rank, except for Ryan Garcia.

Very true. PBC even has 2 of the 4 belts at 140 so signing with them his best (and most lucrative) option. Unify with Rolly and that would sell because of the natural historical dislike of each other. Matias next or catchweight with the Tankster. Teo has one more fight with TR and he will probably go to PBC for fights with Tank and Bud. If Haney goes to 147 then the only logical route is PBC. He will never build his American profile on Dazn but he surely will be able to on Prime!

I like both guys but Haney better stay far away from Boots. Very far!

Free Agency should work in Devin's favor! He can work with Floyd, Oscar, and obviously Bob Arum! I hope he fights Tank, Shakur, Ryan, or Teofimo, in his next fight! Nothing at 147 is good for him, definitely not Boots!

Boots is a JMW fighting at 147lbs, everyone always talks about how big he is in person and has already fought at a full 154lbs. He may even be a tad bigger than Spence is...

Buts let's be fr, other than a belt that was gifted to him, Boots doesn't really offer much to Haney.
