I guess Floyd retired to duck Thurman didn’t he? Stop it, you’re sounding foolish. Beterbiev turned down a fight twice against Kovalev (the guy ward stopped) his handlers were not ready to put him in with elite competition whatsoever at 9-0. But keep coping.

Ward beat the #2 P4P fighter in the world and he supposedly was ducking fighters that hadn’t had 10 fights, had zero 12 rounders or experience & those same fighters haven’t fought each other after 7 YEARS of Ward being retired JESUS!

Sounds believable LOL. Ward definitely ducked two fighters that were fighting the likes of Trent Broadhurst and Isidro Ranoni Prieto. Hell, Beterbiev was still fighting in Canada for the North American Boxing belt & fighting once a year lmao. Please brother.. do some research rather than throwing out the ‘duck’ title simply because you don’t like a fighter.

Beterbiev and Bivol were well past 25 and had plenty of experience, they were both multiple gold medal champs with vast amateur experience, interim champs and fought for championships the same year Ward retired. And they had fought 12 rounders in 2016 (Beterbiev was scheduled for them, but won via KOs, but i digress.) So you're wrong on all accounts, Beterbiev and Bivol would've had enough experience to have fought Ward post 2018.

And yes Beterbiev had fought in America, all his early fights were in Canada and one in Chicago.

      Dumbass casual.
Beterbiev was virtually unknown in the U.S stop it, his past 5 fights before fighting for a vacant title against another scrub were all in Canada. Dude was still fighting for North American association belts.

Enough experience Post 2018? LOL Ward retired September 2017, this is how I know you don’t even believe what you think you do.

Ameatur experience doesn’t translate straight away to the pro’s. I’ve said multiple things that have killed your argument but I’ll name another one:- Beterbiev turned down a Kovalev fight twice in the pro’s. His promoter knew he wasn’t ready for elite competition. But somehow you think he was ready for a guy that stopped Kovalev and was the P4P #1.
Honestly I’m not sure what kind of alternate reality you believe your in.

I don’t even recall any media or fan pressure on Ward to fight either guy, can’t find any articles or interviews from barely anyone in the boxing industry. For example if I typed in Canelo - Benavidez now, I’d see a bunch of interviews, predictions, professionals saying how they want to see that bout/ how Canelo is ducking etc. with Ward vs Bivol/Bet it’s non-existent. Ward went up and fought the boogeyman and sailed into the sunset, nothing left to prove.

Not fight two guys that hadn’t even been paid more than $140,000 per fight at the time and still haven’t fought each other 7 years later LOL. What kind of delusion is this?

You’re salty man. But it’s okay.. Kovalev deserved to be punched in the balls at the end. He got hit with legit body shots throughout the fight & tried to make out they were low.

Get it right at least... Canelo got beaten and owned by Bivol then low-balled him to avoid the rematch.

Ward is salty because Canelo is bigger star he ever was. Sorry Ward, people don`t like dirty fighters.

Ward retired so as not to fight Ward? LoL! Beterbiev though, there may be something to that. There were some other fights I'd have liked to see Ward in too. But he made his decision. All the training and sparring adds up through those amateur and pro years of fighting. I think he needed a break. I wish he had taken one instead of fully retiring.

6 years in retirement. Currently 39 years old. Doubtful he could return near anything he once was.

I always felt injuries had diminished him some even before his retirement.

Undisputed supersedes mandatories. He did not fight Stevenson. If he retired ducking a fight it was Stevenson. Next revisionist story.

This is like the same BS story-line going around with Crawford and Ennis and Ennis has more than a hand of fights.
