Comments Thread For: Prograis: I Haven't Gotten Respect I Really Deserve; Beating Haney Would Put Me Top Five P4P

Regis Prograis won't just fight Saturday night to retain his WBC super lightweight title. The two-time 140-pound champion views his pay-per-view showdown with undefeated Devin Haney as his opportunity to gain the type of respect that has eluded the New Orleans native thus far. The 34-year-old Prograis has made seven-

Rooroo was devalued after Josh. He's asking for something that he lost, but Haney is a good scalp

However much I dislike Haney, he will win this fight. He's in a better shape for a newcomer at 140. Prograis on the other hand, seems to have lost his composition. I think he has lost the fight both at the scale and by making so much noise. Again, I don't like Haney, but he handles himself like the victor. Which he probably is.

Feel people are sleeping on Prograis thinking he's just a big puncher. Dude can really box. Haney might be the better boxer, but he's gonna taste Prograis power at some point. He's definitely gonna hafta be on his P's and Q's if he wants to come out on top here.

Prograis lost last time out on my score card, Haney as well but at least Haney lost to a very high quality opponent.

before Zorrilla, I would have confidently picked him to beat Haney, now I don't think so.

Prograis’ loss to Josh Taylor has aged terribly, he hasn’t been active, and he made it out by the skin of his ass against Zorrila last time out. I don’t think Prograis is in the top 15 at junior welterweight in terms of who could beat who. This fight on ppv absolutely sucks.
