Most premium cable networks are now switching to digital in order to compete with all the major streaming networks like: Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix and Pea****.Comment

It's not like SHO's PPVs were a drastic improvement though.
The majority of us don't have an issue with PBC on Prime because we already have Prime, so PBC is basically a supplement. I think this is a clever way of PBC shielding themselves, and proves that DAZN/ESPN were not realistic destinations. DAZN/ESPN lives and dies on its sport content, so PBC would arguably be under more pressure to be consistent and to play well with the promoters already on those platforms. Amazon will definitely have their own expectations, so we'll see what PBC is allowed to get away with.
Mr. Roarke found a new island, but I'm not sure he'll be able to deliver the same fantasies as before.Comment

I’m glad to see this. I don’t have prime but will definitely get it for this. I’m surprised no one has considered that maybe PBC was already scheduled to leave Showtime by 2024 and by doing so it forced Showtime to close its doors on boxing.Comment

So they’ll be no PBC fights until March? Did I read that correctly? If so, that’s a bummer. Hopefully Amazon reallocates some of the Thursday night football resources towards boxing. Their telecast is usually great.Comment
