Nobody is going to beat Inoue at 122.
Somebody might beat him at 126.
Somebody will beat him at 130.
I definitely see a lot of talk in forums about Inoue possibly testing waters at 130 -- but in my opinion -- I don't think he goes that far. I think we all agree with the general consensus that his ceiling is 126 and even that is still quite crazy to think about considering he started at 108. Once Inoue completes his task of beating Tapales, ESPN are going to be licking their chops thinking about a potential Robeisy Ramirez vs Naoya Inoue clash. That's definitely going to be fireworks.Comment

The first three lines exactly how I see it too, and is why I am most excited about him at featherweight. Inoue would have the upper hand in most cases and still have a solid chance of going undisputed for the third time but it won't be as lopsided as until 122.Nobody is going to beat Inoue at 122.

The 130 will probably only happen as his final year if ever. Given that it seems like 130 won't have an undisputed guy any time soon, depending on who holds the belt there probably will be a champion that Inoue could defeat, and a champion that he will lose to.Comment

He’ll have to move up to a point that he’s way undersized to lose, more than likely.
He’s not the obliged to do that.Comment

Will do. Tuesdays and Thursdays I work from the home office or go in around 1100am so I can catch tje Japanese cards.
My favorite part about my night shift prior to Covid was getting home, pouring a coffee and catching the last 2-3 fights of a dope Japanese card.
Keep an eye/ear out for the Shigeoka brothers. Ginjiro could be the next Monster.
