How much revenue does women's boxing even bring in? I pay zero attention to any female fighters on any card. I just mute the tv or watch something else until it's over.

I love women....I love women's tennis, gymnastics, figure skating, there are many sports women compete which are amazing to watch. But boxing?

Can we start an over 50 fat guy boxing league, where guys go in and wing haymakers with no power, over and over.....where both guys get bloodied noses and yet never go down? I mean, I want to be represented in the sport as well.

No, but I'll watch those dudes play golf or poker and it is a fun watch.

The skill level and entertainment value should drive the growth of the sport. It is just boring and low skill 99% of the time. If they want to fight fine, but can we just put it on it's own card? And let high level boxing take it's place on the undercards of men's fights?

I'm confident that women *can go 12 three minute rounds. The question is, why on earth would they want to? One of the goals of boxing is to "not get hit." In the professional ranks, another goal is to make as much money as you can for as little work as possible. If you can KO your opponent in the first 30 seconds, do it. I can't imagine a football player asking for each quarter to be extend an extra 5 minutes. Why on earth would a boxer, male or female, ask for longer rounds and more of them? What, so they can take more damage? It's *insane.

Ladies, be happy that you're only required to demonstrate your skills for 20 punishing minutes (10 two minute rounds) instead of over 36 (12 three minute rounds). You'll be healthier, happier, and better paid for it.
