For purely medical, and scientific reasons, men's rounds are reduced to 12. There's a reason women's rounds are shorter. This does not detract from the quality of women's boxing. True, in other combat sports, women's rounds are 3 minutes (kickboxing and Muay Thai) or 5 (MMA), and yet regular and championship boxing matches are still longer. However, women's rounds are not always 3 min. in kickboxing and Muay Thai, but often 2. So from a health point of view it is very important, otherwise of course longer rounds are always the better option.
This is where women's nonsense begins: to fight on an equal footing with men - then start paying the fees from which they are exempted - like men.
