No, Ali was a complete fake he had battery acid pasted on his gloves between rounds so that the opponent would get cut easier and then the acid would cause them to fall apart. His corner also put a doping agent in the other guys water bottle to make them slower. Even worse, all the judges were paid off to give favorable scores to Ali. The stool that the other guy would sit on had pins in it that would puncture the guys azz so he would have trouble walking around.
