NSB (Greenfield02): why do you say Canelo is ducking Benavidez, but Crawford wasn’t ducking Boots?

Bud is just the locus of his mental illness. This isn't really about Crawford at all.

So why are we not consistent?
Probably because Crawford is ****in contracted to fight Spence again and he would like to move up in weight.
Both Canelo and Benavidez are free to fight in May and they are clearly the top 2 at the weight so should get it on.

I can always count on your posts to make things understandable

Crawford just fought a P4P fighter, #1/#2 in his division and is scheduled to rematch him.

Canelo's last opponents were 40 year old G and bringing up Jermell 2 weight divisions.

What the hell are you people talking about?

Most fans want to see Canelo v Benavidez. An Ennis v Crawford fight does nothing for Crawford’s legacy or bank account. He’s looking for bigger challenges. You can’t accuse him of ducking Ennis when Ennis doesn’t have one notable win and Bud is looking for a more dangerous and lucrative fight with Canelo.

Canelo wasn't contractually tied to a different fight before Benavidez became mandatory, and for that matter, Benavidez is 3rd in line after WBA and IBF. If Canelo fights Munguía before Benavidez, especially after the crap about how he doesn't fight Mexicans, that's a big fat duck.

Boxing fans have ****** short memories though.

Spence only defended his IBF belt once in 5 years, but IBF stripped Bud after 3 months. Before the Spence fight was even a thing, and Bud was defending his WBO belt, WBO being one of the organizations that does regularly order mandatories, Ennis chose to pursue the IBF route instead. That's a flat duck of Bud. He called out Spence, but not Bud after he won the interim as well. But he also didn't bother calling for his mandatory shot for the months he was mandatory for Spence. Didn't petition for it even once, even when the undisputed fight was looking dead in the water. And he only petitioned for it after Spence said he would be activating his rematch clause. He's been barking a lot now that Bud is legally required to fight Spence. We'll see how he talks when Bud is actually free to fight him. He went radio silence after Bud beat Spence down. Didn't let Bud's name cross his lips until he knew Bud couldn't fight him.

What top flight opponent did Benavidez beat?

Don’t you dare say Plant, who took David the distance and NSB called a bum when Canelo stopped him.

Don’t you dare say Andrade, who eked out wins against every Brit he fought.

                      Make it make sense.
