Do we know he's having trouble? Maybe he preferred to not cut this time. Maybe he is sick & already compromised & doesn't wanna lower his energy losing more weight. Maybe he's stressed out with all the promoter bs & just said fook making weight.

Mostly ik Idgaf about weight for a non-belt fight tho & I'm surprised so many ppl gaf about the weight for this fight. Its pretty standard for non-belt fights to happen a lb or 3 above the weight the boxers are ranked in.

I don't pay attention to the words ppl say a whole lot in this sport. So much is just noises from ppl's mouths more than anything fans should gaf about. I gaf about the fights not the words boxers say.

Duarte is ranked at 135. This fight would be like 8 lbs above the weight he is ranked in.

I’m not convinced Ryan would have any effect on ‘boots’ or Crawford at 147 so he’d be well advised to at least take 140 seriously .

Guy, did anyone force him to agree on the cach weight? Only a mentally weak person will voluntarily agree on something and afterwards go public to complain about the agreement. His behaviour and that of those supporting him is just pathetic and childish.

fighting at 143 yet his last fight was at 136 with a rehydro clause...so dumb of him to do that, especially when he could have kept milking his career tank style against hand picked bums of his own.

But...this is not the same thing for Duarte...it's the exact opposite. He's coming UP in weight, not draining himself. It's still lame as hell.

DLH and Hopkins are already treating Ryan like a fighter who left GBP.

They’ve been acting like the most unprofessional promoters.

you are right its not the same tihng but its still cowardly to fight a teeny tiny man not in your weight class. thats tank davis style. also hes coming off a loss so pretty standard to beat up on a small bum, tank is doing it in "championship" fights with his little interim belt thingy and passing them off as legit fights. robbery
