Its all the same thing if its over the weight limit.

Like I said this is only an issue when a big name does it. This happens all the time when lesser known guys fight at 136 instead of 135 or 172 instead of 168.

This is whatever type sh^t & happens all the time for any boxing dorks that pay attention to the whole event & all levels of the sport. On this same card Mosley Jr made the MW limit but his opp is 3.5lbs over the MW limit. Fulghum made the SMW limit & his opp is 2lbs over the SMW limit. Sugar Rush is almost 2lbs over LW while his opp made LW. The kid making his debut & his opp are both at 141lbs instead of 140lbs. That makes half the fights on this card where a guy is "over" a division limit & likely agreed to do that at some point. And this is not unusual.

And sh^t man ppl have been questioning Ryan's motivation forever. This is a lesser reason, of far bigger past reasons, to question his motivation if we are shooting straight here.

It’s ok to be driven by money too. But fans certainly shouldn’t gaf about a fighter’s wallet.
Idk that I give a fook about a boxers legacy or money at the end of the day, but I do understand a boxer giving a fook about their own money & not their legacy.

Legacy is a ***ier name for a bs thing like ATG or P4P. A legacy does a boxer no more good than a popular TV show actor being known by ppl yrs after that show is off the air. A legacy might be good for getting a few more smiles, handshakes &/or hugs down the line than someone without a big legacy, but idk that anyone should put that on a pedestal over more tangible & immediate upside in their short time in this game. This is a business with a short runaway & great risk.

I agree with you. I’m just calling out the double standard.
