We have never seen Canelo hurt, except for Cotto's brother at the lighter weights, and everyone gets hurt trying to squeeze down into a weight they don't belong in. Benavidez has never faced an elite puncher and Canelo has, so I am leaning toward Canelo if this fight comes to fruition.

Canelo is never going to be an "all-time great". He will be known a s a really good fighter with an all-timer chin. He lost two fights to his only truly great rival, GGG, given gift cards on both of them, and everyone knows it. Floyd past his prime made him look like an amateur. Bivol kicked his ass well, and the judges still tried to gift it to him.

He fought and beat some good fighters, most if not all past their primes and cherry picked. Benavidez will F him up.

He goes down in history as a top guy in his generation. Not all time. Mostly hype.

He is in contract with PBC, so he's definitely not fighting Munguia. He will fight and beat Benavidez in May. There is no doubt about this.

Canelo couldn't knock out an older GGG, so he definitely cant k.o. David
