This was a general physical exam blood test for certification. Just like the one before the Hatton fight. PED's are not performed on general physical exams.

And...an athlete should not be forced to take any kind of test to prove he's clean. He should be all for it to show his respect for the sport and his fans.
I don't think I've ever heard Pacquiao say he doesn't want the blood test. And you're inserting baseless claims and making it out like it's valid. There's two sides to the story.

Manny wanted to take the test with a cut off date. First it was 30 days, then it was a week. My point is that he keeps switching **** up like Roach is because they really don't want the fight themselves. A CLEAN ATHLETE WOULD TAKE A TEST NO MATTER WHEN IT IS, IF HE'S CLEAN. What part of that is baseless and not understandable?

The first part? (Suggesting Manny isn't a clean athlete).

                LOL. Self-ownage.

Again, you're inserting a claim without actually looking at both sides of the argument--so it's a bit bias to refer to the word "clean" to suggest something amiss with the whole situation with Pacquiao.

Should Pacquiao take the blood test regardless of his reasons---yes. Does have he have a reasonable explanation on why he thinks there should be a cut off date? --Yes.

Like somebody else posted. Before the Morales I fight--Pacquiao had to redue a blood test because of a medical error. He already gave a vile roughly 30 days earlier. A second sample was taken --the doctor advised Pacquiao to drink fluids. However Pacquiao was in the process of dehydrating in order to make weight and he wasn't able to. Pacquiao's feeling of temporary wooziness of blood being taken was compounded by the experience of dehydrating. Therefore the act of taking blood near a fight makes Pacquiao believe it will weaken him. That's why this guy has no problem taking the blood test 30 days away from the fight because in his head--it will be enough time for his body to recoup. I do believe he was both affected mentally/physically for Morales 1 due to the incident because even if he was on PEDs for that fight, he shouldn't have been so dead tired only after a few rounds.

I understand he's reasons now but somebody needs to tell Pacquiao it will be only a teaspoon/tablesppon not what NSAC usually takes which is pretty large amount if you look at 24/7.

The fact that this was pre-floyd Sr and only one month before James Toney was caught for steroids is bad news for Roach and Pacquiao.

This lawsuit will destroy him, and its kinda sad really.

Understood now gotcha. But I think he should take the test because if he doesn't, it makes him look bad...I'm just saying.
