Ok, Pacquiao was informed about the blood test and eye exam and he initially refused because he claimed the eye drops blurred his vision for three days and it was too close to the fight with Morales.
After the “test”, he was found to be fine. No problem with the eye drops.
In fact, Mark Ratner stated that “We’re not going to let him take an unnecessary eye examination if he already had one.”
When they were trying to find out how Pacquiao felt after the “test”, some Joe Ramos blocked access to Manny and stated he had “no comment” and claimed Pacquiao was asleep.
6cc’s of blood is about a teaspoonful.
Was this to test for drugs or for something else? Because there is nothing in the article indicating that he passed or didn’t passed a “drug test“. It just indicates that the medical records were lost, according to Roach’s claim, but suddenly appeared when an ex-FBI agent requested and was granted access to them by
a doctor in Los Angeles.
The fact that Team Pacquiao were faxed the notice to undergo the test/medical exam by the NSAC, and it was neglected, adds more fuel to the controversy.Comment

As you stated--this was basically a medical examination. The article never states that it was a drug test, which goes back to the issue of Pacquiao using PEDs against Morales. If he was on say EPO in the first fight--why did Pacquiao look so tired after 2/3 rounds? How about HGH, Winstrol, or some type of steroid to counter that argument?-- because steroids is known to make you winded. However, in 2005, Roach was training James Toney. Some have claimed that Roach gave Toney steroids---so why wasn't Pacquiao caught like Toney and other guys like Vargas? (We later find out that Toney was prescribed medication which contained steroid ingredients to recover from his operation).Ok, Pacquiao was informed about the blood test and eye exam and he initially refused because he claimed the eye drops blurred his vision for three days and it was too close to the fight with Morales.

So this leads undetectable PEDs, right? You can argue Roach lying but that doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.
And I agree, 6cc is a small amount and I hope Manny takes the test. He needs to get the freakin' head in the game and stop relating the blood test with how he feels during the week he has to dehydrate like he did for Morales 1. That's why he doesn't want to take blood test near a fight. To me, he really has psyched himself out on this issue.
By the way, if it is truly 6cc, Dominicano Soy! needs to stop posting that it's some huge vile of blood that was taken from Pacquiao in the Hatton fight--to support his claim that Pacquiao is not affraid of blood being withdrawn.Last edited by rao007; 12-31-2009, 04:11 PM.Comment

Actually, it appeared to be a tube of blood drawn from Pacquiao before the Hatton fight. As you stated--this was basically a medical examination. Pacquiao didn't eat.
Pacquiao was already on the 130 mark he didn't want to go over.
He instead went to sleep.
