I jumped off the boat when he fought Henry Brussels. Henry "F%$^#&*G" Brussels.

I still love the skillz, though. Incomparable.

floyd is in an interesting situation. he's the top draw in boxing and can call the shots but isn't one of the top fighters anymore. he's kinda like mike tyson in the latter part of his career. will he continue to fight peter mcneeley's or will he step up to the holyfield and lewis' of the boxing world to see if he still has it?

I'm not too concerned with whom "ducked" or "avoided" whom in the past.

I think there's more ammo to criticize Mayweather for whom he fights now, as opposed to the weak-ish opposition from 03-05, because Mayweather is in a much better position to get the fights he wants now. He's become someone that most guys around the divisions want to fight, for the money and magnitude of the event. After beating DLH, he fought Hatton, which was fine with me, but there were plenty of other good fights out there afterwards. He negotiated a rematch with DLH, "retired", and then fought Marquez in a comeback bout. Not exactly what fans want from such a terrific fighter. The next fight should be either Mosley or the Cotto/Pacquiao winner.

Entertaining. Maybe aside from the Hatton what is entertaining about a guy who fights C or B level fighters? Gatti, Mitchell, Baldomir. A show is only as good as the risk that are taken. Thats why they sometimes take the net off from beneath the circus. People get tired of seeing the same stuff. I'm sure Mosley, Cotto and Pacquiao can put on a show if they fought any of those three fighters. It's time Mayweather starts dancing with the stars for real.
