Say he fight someone like Juan Diaz, will you still be his fan? I'm not a fan, but I respect the dude, because of his skill. I think that he is scared to fight a Cotto or Mosley! He's chicken ****! Thoughts?

I will in fact be more of a fan. The Art of Ducking (written by Sun kotsa-Tzu many years ago) is very complex and for one to consistently duck the best fighters, all the while proclaiming to be & more importantly, being accepted as P4P #1, is an incredibly difficult thing to accomplish. It's quite amazing, really.

      lol

      Well...that depends.

If he fights a lesser opponent on regular access HBO, then I wouldn' be too mad I guess... Cuz its free. But if he tries to shove a uncredible ppv down the world's collective craw...anything less than the obvious 3 top competitions guys...or Berto.. Or Pwill..or Marg if he comes back..(not sure of the timeline there), then naturally I will be dissapointed.

But that doesn't mean I'd stop being a fan. Just cuz he does one weak fight, doesn't mean there won't be good ones in the future...

Does not really matter to me aslong as he keeps on fighting afterward, aslong as Floyd keeps on fighting the big time matchup are always possible even if they are not his next fight.

I have followed Floyd since the Olympics why would I give up on that now?

If he doesn't fight the Pacquiao-Cotto winner or Mosley then I'll probably start rooting for him to get knocked out.

Unlikely he won't fight either one of them though. Where else is he going to make that big of a payday? He's just posturing now with his comments.

Mayweather to me is one of the most entertaining fighters to watch. That unique display of boxing is why I am a fan. I would want him to prove himself against the best, I couldn't say if I'd be a fan or not. I wouldn't be too happy.

floyd thinks that if he can make a million ppvs off a mismatch, hey why not keep doing it.....he's right...he came back to rob money...the fight fans' money

                    Yes...

He has challenged himself before..he will do so again.. Eventually.

I give him more credit for the DLH fight than most... I give him credit for the Hatton fight...His tuneup fight with JMM, though hated on in retrospect, was a great showcase of his skills, and it wasn't just size thats a dumb thing to say. How you gonna be bigger AND faster. Usually the smaller guy is faster, Plus, Floyd througout most of his career was the smaller guy in a fight. So I give him some credit for the JMM fight, just because. I give credit for most of his fights. Baldomir was an uninspired choice, granted. But I don't really view him as having had that many weak fights. Unlike some people
