He is the real deal but he’s also 6 ft 200 plus pounds walking around. He rehydrates to at least 190 on fight night. Canelo is at least 20 pounds less rehydrated. He should have fought DB already but at this point I’m feeling DB is a weight bully and needs to move up. Callum Smith former SMW champ was 6-3 doing the same thing. Now he’s fighting Beterbiev at the weight he belongs.

If Canelo doesn’t fight him next then he’s simply scared. What better fight for Cinco de Drinko

Haven't heard anything from Alvarez. Being very quiet looks like. Not facing another Mexican is a thin excuse. Wondering what his next excuse will be.
Fighting Benavidez would probably look a lot like the Plant fight.

Be pretty ironic to see Ginger stomped by a bigger guy after watching him do it to multiple fighters over the years.

I mean Bivol kicked his ass badly and they were around the same weight.

Volume puncher who stands in the pocket straight in line. Big, static midsection to pound away on. What more could Canelo ask for?

Canelo never feared a man in his life, except for GGG.

Andrade got an awkward style. Canelo calls it horrible. His salient one is his sudden burst of attack throwing combos, then retreat. It's only effective on opponents with glass chins and not enough resiliency. Andrade doesn't even use his height. He ducks low as his main defensive stance, instead of standing tall and putting on the high guard.

Like everyone else, I want to see Canelo face Benavidez. I think you're getting into counting chickens before they have hatched territory with these predictions though. If it happens -- and I surely hope it does soon -- Canelo will be the best opponent Benavidez has faced; whereas Canelo has already stepped in the ring with numerous fighters who are better than Benavidez (or at the very least, much more accomplished fighters).
