    Agreed as always, benny.

He has very good power though and many times didn't even force the stoppage.

The KO of Griffin was very impressive and tells you his power was for real.

Roy had good power and often stunned and hurt his opponrnts at 175. I dont think he lost his power, I think he lost his killer instinct, and would rather have embarassed his opponents than risk going for the KO.
When he went to heavy and came back down though his power really diminished, he cant break an egg right now.

Roy hit much harder at mw without a doubt. At lhw he didn't carry as much power. True story.

Tarver, like Roy, also came back down in weight and looked ill when they did. Yeah, not real big on Hopkins win in that fight with Tarver because of that reason. Hopkins was never a one punch puncher...but did have nice pop in his Prime...something he lost as he got older and slower. Although he still had enough left to put down Calzaghe and have him hurt for a few seconds. Timing is also important to hurt an opponent.

              Elbow?

It was funny at one point with your posts but now it is annoying.

I neer found him that brutalizing at the lower weights in a 1 punch KO power guy either.

Harris was just some guy,the 4 hooks were impressive there not that fact he KO'd him.

Vaca was past it and later even more passed it had a embarassing KO loss to Cory Spinks.Roy put him away way to easy too.

Tate and Malinga are impressive yes but so were Griffin and Hill IMO at 175.

I can't argue with anything you said. I will say that he went the distance far more at 175. As Benny mentioned, probably had more to do with his opponents being bigger.

when he was agressive and turned on his punches properly @ 175 he stopped griffin and hill with pretty much 1 shot...after the knockdown against del valle he only looked to potshot and go the distance...after ruiz the snap went out his punches altogether and cats like tarver, johnson and calzaghe were able to walk thru him without much worry...
