Well that's a ******ed statement. Go ask the Governor of Pennsylvania where they're from and I seriously doubt the answer would be America. Even though that would be correct in the sense of the encompassing nation they were born in, the specific state is the probable answer. None of the people I know when I ask them where they're from say America they always say the state because that's the specific region they call home. Bad example.
Roy never carried his power up to lhw

If he is out of the country he would. When in the States, you would give city/town unless asked about State...and when in the city/town they would ask what area...and then what street and then the address. Depends on how specific you need to get.Well that's a ******ed statement. Go ask the Governor of Pennsylvania where they're from and I seriously doubt the answer would be America. The fact is, the pictures I showed was to show you the difference between the side and the front. Joe was hit in the face, not the side.Last edited by Benny Leonard; 10-07-2009, 03:43 PM.Comment

TS showing us again his great boxing knowledge.
Jones still has power, what he lost after he went back to LHW is foot movements and punch resistance.
RJJ was excellent until the Ruiz/Tarver fights(turning point). He was never the same after it. This video proves my point(before the Ruiz fight).Comment

Well when you are IN America and ask someone where they are from, it makes sense to say the state, rather than the country. When you are international, I would bet that many of them would say they are from America and then the region they come from.Well that's a ******ed statement. If you lived in Germany and asked someone you went to school with where they were from do you think they would say "Germany?" No, because they are under the assumption most people in Germany at that time who are living there are from Germany. They use smaller regions that identify their specific locations.
Pretty simple stuff.Comment

He could still hit hard at 175 (Griffin and Hill being examples), but not quite the same as at lower divisions.
In fact when people talk about the McCellan tragedy affecting his mentality in the ring, I think it was more so facing bigger guys at 175 and his punches not having quite the same effect. Immediately after Benn-McClellan, Jones was still knocking out guys early and impressively. At 175, despite the occassional early stoppage, he tended to coast more.Comment
