Canelo will handle him just like Bivol handled Gilberto Ramirez.
So Bena is more like a Fernando Vargas?

a very good Mexican fighter but not THE BEST MEXICAN

I don't know what he is but he is not what they are advertising. Literally, a low-level boxer puncher can stand in front of him and trade with him.

      Lemiux - Shot 160
      Dirrell - Shot
      Plant - Non-puncher
Andrade - Blown up 160 in small ring

On paper, Garvil is the worst but has the closest attributes to Canelo (counter punching out of a high guard) and he puts up the best fight and didn't die after 6 rounds.

They are going to sell over 1.5 PPVs and he is going to give another Gilberto Ramirez performance.

Always remember the words of Bob Arum - Boxing fans are like dumb rocks. You can kick them in any direction.

Alvarez Bena is certainly a most anticipated fight!

Erm.. Bivol is a technician. He has a career 50% KO ratio. He hasn't knocked anyone out in 5 years.
Kovalev that Canelo fought was badly damaged. He had a 2 month camp and coming off 2 KO losses. He was moving well around the ring and shooting a ton of jabs, rarely throwing a power shot.

I don't think those are good comparisons to David. Canelo has never faced someone like Benavidez - a bigger, younger, power puncher. I'm not exaggerating - David Benavidez is unlikely any other opponent Canelo has ever had. This would be a great cinco de mayo fight if Canelo accepts it.

Eh, I'm not disagreeing with your view on that fight, but believing that fight reflects anything about David now is a fallacy. Benavidez-Gavril took place in 2017 and 2018, when Benavidez was 20 and 21 years old. He popped dirty for ******* after the 1st Gavril fight.

To put it in perspective - Benavidez was 20 years old when he got flash KDd by Gavril. Canelo was also 20 years old when he [should have] gotten KDd by Jose Miguel Cotto (Canelo's 33 now, that fight was in 2010). Neither one of these mean a damn thing.

Gavril had amazing conditioning and gas tank, who could throw 800 punches in a fight and he actually took a major beating in that rematch and went to hospital with a concussion vs a 22 year old Benavidez.

Canelo is much smaller, far inferior gas tank, and punch out put. Also is slower. I think he has nothing for Benavidez. That supposed great counter punching will shrivel up to nothing by round 3-4 once he gasses out and gets drowned. It will be a beat down for Benavidez.

GGG 1 700 punches and GGG 2 879 punches and superior to Benavidez and Garvil in terms of punch placement. Keep believing the Gilberto Ramirez Lie 2.0. Haymon just got a 1.5 million PPV. Canelo will compromise and dog walk him by the 7th round.

You don't seem to realize that Benavidez already has a better resume than hype job GGG.

                    Haymon Monster's Resume

                    Shot - Lemieux
                    Shot - Dirrell
                    No Power - Plant
Al Haymon Mind Trick - Andrade (setup fight like GGGimmick vs Brook but you can't see what Haymon just did with the Straw-weight ring)
                    TMT - Garvil

                    GGGimmick Resume minus Canelo

                    Jacobs
                    Murray
                    Stevens
                    Derevy
Rosado (I've favor him over Garvil, much better resume)

What's the difference b/c I don't see it? The two best would be Jacobs vs Plant. Is plant really that much better than the Jacobs GGG fought?

You really listed Stevens and Journey man Rosado that Lemiuex stopped? lol.

Dirrell was shot despite being the WBC champ 35-1 and unbeaten for 6 years before David stopped him?
