How would a fight with Morell and Benavidez play out? Morell seems to be the only one calling out Benny. I wanna see Benny in there with another young big man who can actually crack with both hands

We’d likely find out just how good Morrell is. I’d love to see it tbf.

Morrell passes the eye test but it’s a massive step up in class. He has the skills to trouble Benavidez but I’d have to favour the more seasoned/proven guy. I think Benavidez would take him into deep water in the latter half of the fight and either win by decision or force a late stoppage.

Morrell still needs seasoning, he should be fighting guys like Munguia, Berlanga, Pacheco etc. Let the dude get more rounds and at least 15 fights before stepping up in class with guys like Benavidez or Canelo.

Benavidez is nastier than Morrell, and probably more capable in terms of absorbing heavy leather.

As of now I'd pick Benavidez to win quite comfortably, perhaps another mid-rounds knockout.
