If Fury did not train at all for Ngannou and just came in to collect a paycheck, and still won…what does that say about Ngannou?

There was a large decline when he became obese and a drug addict for 3 years, his comeback was inspired but he was only ever 80% of what he was prior to the layoff. Since then he's gotten worse, far worse.
Fury now is flat footed, can't move anywhere near how he used to, his stamina seems to be going, he's not as versatile and he looks like a fighter going through the motions.
It's part of the reason Usyk vs Fury just doesn't excite me, I think Fury would have a big chance of losing to Zhang, Hrgovic even a Frank Sanchez.
If Usyk becomes undisputed off simply beating AJ and Fury, put another way a guy who just lost to Andy Ruiz and then a guy who just lost to Francis Ngannou,
you have to say that is the easiest route to undisputed ever. If Usyk then retires after that as I expect him to, then we will honestly never know who was actually the best fighter of this era at heavyweight because none of them fought each other.

Do agree with him
Fury looked fatter than usual against Ngannou and he got manhandled on the inside

It's quite possible but I think his lacklustre performance against Ngannou had more to do with him not taking him seriously than him losing a step.

Yea, I think Ngannou is just a big, strong guy with more skills than anyone thought. And truthfully, Mike Tyson looks fabulous as a trainer ... judging from that video they let slip. It wouldn't be wise for anyone else to soft-pedal a fight with this guy .... and not properly train and prepare. Tyson Fury was not in shape like Wilder II or III fights, and his strategy seemed pretty weak. Ngannou definitely surprised him and nearly pulled out a win. Fighting a guy that big who is prepared is dangerous, even if it's his first fight. With more time Mike Tyson could easily make a champ of Ngannou.
The other side of that though is, what happens to Ngannou if someone really chin-checks the big guy. That is un-charted territory. Tyson Fury did not get himself in fighting trim and prepared enough to check him and find out.
