I have no issue with the IBF enforcing their mandatory, but I have issues with who the IBF installs as their mandatory, they mostly have weak mandatories… nobody in the world with a brain thinks Charlo is ducking Murtazaliev.Comment

This comes about due to their business model a part of which is not ranking fighters in other belt orgs' rankings - just another way boxing shoots itself in the footComment

Damn, bruh. Mell ain't do good at 168, but he has been a highlight reel king at 154. Why y'all hate him so much? LOL... I'm sort of neutral on that fight, but if Charlo can maintain his prime for a while longer, I would still live to see him being champ at 154. Then other guys can contender amongst each other when he moves to 160.Comment

Pita Garcia called this, and we all saw it coming. Jermell Charlo DOESNT care about the belts anymore and he might not even box anymore a day in his life and that’s simply because he’s very rich now. He was used to making 1.5-3 million per fight and then he makes 20 million for the Canelo fight. He’s set for lifeComment

I can see the pattern. Boxers (tired of calling them fighters) choosing to be stripped rather than going out there and accept challenges. They're deeply mired into this fighting once a year culture. This sport needs new breed of fighters.Comment

Crawford was coming close to challenge for his third undisputed title fight in a different weight class. The Canelo fight really move that possibility away. It is about time that these unified titles go vacant if they are not defended.
Look how the 140 weight class opened up once the titles became vacant. No real marquee names at 154 but good bouts will come out of it.Comment

Only thing Charlo is ducking is purse bid...aint no money in purse bid!Comment
