I think he knew that was it... He was heavy breathing for 2 rounds... Wise Gatekeeper move...

This is exactly the type of test Pacheco needed he was pushed and eventually figured Coceres out and put him away and yes I agree he did it in better fashion than Berlanga and Saunders.

Coceres dropped and hurt Berlanda badly in that fight and gave saunder all he could handle.

Pacheco has real power and this fight will only make him better.

Coceres is no push over he gave saunders all he could handle and was even beating him on the cards before the stoppage. He also dropped Berlanda hard and arguably beat him.

Pacheco learned a lot in this fight figured the crafty vet out and stopped him and did it in better fashion than both Saunders and Berlan.

Come on bro Berlanga clearly won. He dominated the first five rounds til he blew his biceps and still managed to win 2 or 3 of the last 5.

That uppercut was sick from Pacheco tho, I LOVE how he find openings in tight spaces especially for such a long/tall guy. If dude gets tighter defense he'll probably take over 168 once Canelo and Benavidez leave. If not he getting KO'D by a left hook soon

Decent scrap and good test for Pacheco, showed he can come back after adversity, with that stoppage.
Can't hate on Coceres for not getting up by the count, he still hadn't shaken off those shots and would have gotten killed if he got up and took another barrage.

Diego is 22 & still developing.. the first fight he had to dig deep & he passed, he needed this for growth... but still needs learning. He kept basically just 'boxing" hoping things would fall in place but eventually Coceres stepped it up knowing Pacheco wasn't gonna change his plan. Then Coceres landed a few good left hooks, that's when Pacheco woke up & knew he had to step it up his aggression & was successful... it's a learning curve but he'll learn.. i'm just glad he wasn't running

Looks a good prospect with good potential but still needs a way to go. Having Benavidez as a sparring partner will really help him develop. He needs to fix that defense though. People crap on about Benavidez lacking defense but he almost never gets hit clean like that with his high guard which is far more reliable. Head movement always fails eventually.
