Training with David will only improve Pacheco that's a big plus.

That uppercut was sick from Pacheco tho, I LOVE how he find openings in tight spaces especially for such a long/tall guy. If dude gets tighter defense he'll probably take over 168 once Canelo and Benavidez leave. If not he getting KO'D by a left hook soon
I didn't watch the fight, so do you think he can beat Morell jr? Because benavidez and canelo are not the only ones in that division. Actually mcbili and shishkin look very good fighters too.

I predicted that Coceres would expose some holes in Pacheco's game - Pacheco has an opportunity to improve and really should. He's a good kid.

I thought Pacheco did well. He showed a decent chin and composure when Coceres was beginning to have success. I think he could've stopped Coceres sooner had he increased his output rather than boxing on the back-foot.

Pacheco = boxer-puncher, Benavidez = pressure fighter. David's high guard suits his fighting style, and his size & output normally drowns the opponent. David would've probably gotten Coceres outta there sooner.

No he's not quite ready for the top 5ish fighters, my statement was more of a projection kids only 22 years old so I expect improvement especially on defense. If he doesn't fix those defensive holes he'll get brutally KO'D sooner or later by a Mcbilli etc

Pacheco showed a lot of discipline in sticking to the game plan even when it wasn't working. I would have liked to have seen him figure out that he needed a different approach earlier but he definitely passed the " Dog test". Some defense against the left hook, more bodywork, and not dipping to the right every time would be nice. Overall though , he's pretty good and it was a good performance. He beats the heck out of Berlanga on any day that ends with a Y.
