Nate is someone that keeps it real. He says what is on his mind, which is a great thing, but also you need a balance. The way he talks makes people not like him very much. It's sad that he is poor and not getting fights. He's a good fighter, not great but good.

Well, Nate's certainly not rich (yet), but he's definitely not poor either. He's not really an extravagant guy though. He doesnt try to live like a rock star or anything. He lives in a very modest house, and all his vehicles are paid for. So he won't have any real trouble making it until next May with no income. He'll probably have to tighten up the discretionary spending a little, but he'll be ok....................

Nate had the chance to sign elsewhere didn't he? So it's kind of his fault too right?

Yes and no. Don made it clear that the only way Nate would get the Diaz fight was by signing with him (Diaz was with King at that time). We were confident that Nate would beat Diaz, and we hoped that the Diaz win would be enough to overcome all the negatives associated with King, but it didnt play out that way. In spite of the Diaz win, all the other promoters were able to maneuver their fighters around Nate rather than deal with King's nonsense. Hindsight is always 20-20. His choice at the time was to either get the Diaz fight and take his chances with King, or keep fighting on ESPN for 50 cents. Neither option was great.....

Good for him to get away from DK. King has really fallen off as a promoter. All he does is hold up guys' careers keepin em on the inactive list. I guess Nate did what he had to do by hookin up wit DK to get his big fight wit Diaz. But he's fast becomin a forgotten man after that Bradley debacle.

Why did Nate sign the contract with Don King back in 2007? Don King's way of conducting business has been known for decades, Nate is the idiot here.
