“We are building towards Joshua and Wilder, but both need to win on 23 December. Nothing has been signed but there are extensive talks which continued into the night after the news conference.

I am confident that before Riyadh in December we will be in a position to give the fans some good news. If it happens then it will definitely happen by spring next year.

You may wonder why Joshua and Wilder could not fight each other next month - it was just down to time. Just six weeks out, a fight of that magnitude is not going to be possible. The Wilder fight comes with additional baggage of negotiation on many different levels “

    Eddie Hearn .

So funny watching people get so upset about numerous hypothetical scenarios. Also, people holding fast to diametrically opposed arguments, no nuance allowed. "I've not muh narrative, and that's what I'm sticking to."

Do any of you actually enjoy boxing? During the 23rd December card are you going to be red faced, seething with anger because it's not exactly what you want, right now?

It always amazes that some so called boxing fans are happy to make excuses up not to see the best fights that can be made ... Hearn has just said that the biggest fight in boxing over even Fury v Usyk is Wilder v Joshua (both of who have four loses to the former!) Now you get to hear what they are really trying to pull , and again a few out there seem happy .....I wonder why? ...amazing .

You swallow everything Hearn puts out, don’t you?

They said wilder would be next after the last one and instead we got them both on the same card and not fighting eachother.

They weren't giving that to anyone. They literally made an instagram video offer and then refused any meetings including phone calls with Hearn when he was already in NY.

Everyone should've knew this was coming all long.

If it isn't Hrgovic next it's Miller, there is a reason him and Eddie were whispering back and forth at the presser...

Who would ever trust Eddies word when it comes to the Wilder fight, it's 6 years in the making and if he isn't bring Wilder up, he's bringing Fury up but AJ ends up fighting stiffs instead and has the audacity to point fingers.
