    Don't know why they keep regurgitating this fight. Ennis Boots himself don't want it. Of course, he always says things people want to hear like he will take blah blah in a heartbeat.

    Why can't we move on with something else? There are tens and tens of potential fights that are more worth pursuing. Are people just finding excuses for Ennis' inactivity?

      This is the main reason why current fighters will never be judged as highly as the champions of the past.

          Bud doesn’t have a lot options currently. He is burning the bridge with PBC, he is NOT a big PPV draw and he is not getting any younger. Charlo is not a big fight anymore, Tszyu is NOT a big draw in America and Canelo has no interest. Where’s the big money fights coming from? Fighting Boots is the best option he has at the moment. It will sell better than Spence rematch, a Tszyu fight and probably Charlo too.

            He has to do the Spence rematch. A Tszyu fight in Australia would do huge money. Charlo was just on a big PPV show so more casuals will know him than Ennis.

              Actually, the contract states that:
              1) Loser has 30 days to activate the rematch clause;
              2) Once activated, winner dictates the weight: 147 or 154lbs

              And no, I'm not making it up, look it up, it is public knowledge by now.

                Crawford calls the shots. Tszyu, Charlo and then Canelo.

                  Pick the reason you like, but Terrence Crawford will NEVER fight Boots Ennis, which means he won't ever fight again at WW. because if he did then knoweledgeable fans would legitimately claim he's ducking the WW heir apparent. As someone else said, modern boxing champions should not be compared to the legends of the past. The modern fighter has too much business savvy and is spoiled by vastly more money than was available to legendary fighters of the past.

                      Please name the WW fight (just one, not 'tens') that is better and more significant thatn Crawford-Ennis?
