I'll probably watch the Spyke event, and then catch the Pac/Cotto fight on YT a few hours later/

Well that's your choice man. I can't bear to watch the FOTY in crappy YT quality. It's HD or nothing!

Prior to Sept 19 Mayweather vs Marquez fight.. UFC already decided to put a fight that would match up Fire Power fight of Manny vs Miguel. I think its just to late to back out from it.

Dana White UFC got KOed on sept 19 fight now this coming Nov. 14 Dana white UFC will get KO again. This time around it will be worst..

It's really not a fair indicator though. If UFC 100 or 101 was up against JMM/May then I'd be more excited. I'm just saying people shouldn't get too hyped. This past UFC event was not a big PPV. Put GSP, Couture, Lesnar, Silva, Penn, rampage, Griffin on there and it's a different story.

It'd be like them having a UFC with Lesnar up against any average boxing PPV.

Or sports pubs don't understand that they can make big cash on the tape delay of the euro cards and instead show the live feed in the afternoon when no one is watching. Thus making Zuffa lose out on lots of money.

White literally begs $pike to put every euro card on TV because of this sillyness. He won this time.

If both (Floyd & Dana) continue the trash talk on who's sport is better, it can bring more ratings and reputation to both sports.

but more old school fans would pick boxing than MMA, they don't want to see 2 guys rolling on the floor on missionary positions .

HBO already knows that they have the older fans on lock.

The marketing campaign at HBO Sports is called "A Hunger to Get Younger". Almost every tactic has been implemented to target a younger generation. From on-air personality (Max) to the promotions (FB, Twitter, etc).

Even the video promos are targeted to the MTV generation. Have you noticed that HBO produced some quick 2-5 minute videos? That's because of the short attention spans.

Also, they have developed a online gaming tourney in conjunction with Fight Night,
