    PACQUIAO/COTTO vs UFC 105 (Randy COUTURE) on Nov. 14

    The biggest fight left in 2009 for boxing fans is Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto on November 14. The last big fight in boxing was Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Juan Manuel Marquez last month. That fight went head-to-head with UFC 103 sparking a war of words between Floyd and UFC President Dana White. It also open the floodgates for UFC vs boxing columns all throughout the web. Well, get ready for a lot more.

    Randy Couture and Brandon Vera will main event UFC 105 on November 14, the same day as Pacquiao-Cotto. The UFC has made the first move and is televising UFC 105 on ****e TV, against the pay-per-view offering on the boxing side.

    So I open this post up to the comments section. What do you think of the boxing vs. MMA rivalry? How do you see November 14 playing out amongst fight fans? Offer your comments below.

      MMA = ARENA FOOTBALL
      BOXING = NFL

      That about sums it up.

        Poor UFC will lose lots of PPV buys for putting it on the same date as Fire Power.

            The UFC is not a PPV card. It is free TV.

                I've never watched a UFC card live, its DVR material. You watch that **** at 3 in the morn while youre drunk as hell, eating a bowl of cereal.

                  I think they're planning to put it on Spi-ke TV and not Pay-per-view.. O.o What are they trying to prove? That given the choice of Free UFC and Pay-per-view boxing people will choose UFC?

                  Well no ****, Dana White.... I'll probably be flipping between the two myself.

                    You know they're gonna air at totally different times right?

                    UFC is gonna be in England airing in the afternoon.
