Comments Thread For: Shakur Stevenson: Canelo Gonna Feel [Crawford's] Punch As Much As Bud Feels Canelo's Punch

I believe shakur saying Bud is a strong mofo but Canelo also spars strong big boys all the time and there is weightclasses for a reason.

Why would Crawford want a rematch with Spence at 147 if he plans on moving up to Canelo? Moving up to 154 first is a good idea, but maybe he wants Spence weight-drained so he can beat him up again. Canelo is too strong for Crawford, no matter what Shakur thinks.

He wants to move on from Spence. Canelo would be a far bigger payday. Demanding 147 is a way of discouraging Spence from enforcing the rematch clause.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if Crawford could beat Canelo and hurt him in the process. Possibly even stop him.

I get taking up for your friends but Shakur is way out there. Maybe he should spar with Canelo and feel the difference. There's a reason why Jermell practically ran out of the ring and back to his dressing room when Canelo hit him. I like Crawford too but Shakur is tripping.

I'm no Canelo fanboy, but he can take direct shots from GGG without budging. He's used to hurting much bigger men than Crawford. I would expect Bud to put up a better fight than Charlo, but he wouldn't win.

He needs to fight Tim at 154 who is a boxer-puncher like Canelo. It would be a two-weight jump similar to Ray Leonard going to up-fight Hagler. FMW and Lara already proved you can nullify headshots from Canelo. It comes down to his body shots. Lara caught a lot of them with his elbows. He stops Tim on the road, esp in Australia. I give him a good chance vs Canelo

There is zero chance Crawford hurts Canelo. It might be competitive for 2-3 rounds before Canelo starts to tee off on Crawford.
