I’ll be ready, and gladly do that for you because that would have meant that bud did something great and solidified his self as an ATG. I’m all for greatness

Is Crawford a "special" fighter? "Special" is a very vague term, but I'd say yes.
Is Crawford physically 25 maybe younger? Now I think you are significantly underestimating the ability of a real world class 25 years old athlete...I can see the argument that he's got a body of a boxer who's still in his early 30, or that he is in better shape than a generic 25 years old dude, but not a below 25 world class athlete, which is what he's trying to be.

Again, this isn't a young kid who decided to start working out for the first time in his life, and has a crap ton of leeway to grow and put on new muscle for every workout he conducts. This is a man who's started his career at 135, already put on pounds and pounds of solid, legit muscle over his career to go up to 140 then 147, and after spending all of his 30s so far at 147, finally considering going up to 154 to likely finish out his career. In other words, since age 20 when he made his professional debut, he's gone up 12 lbs in 10 years when he reached 147. Going up to 168 bypassing 154 and 160 means that he is going to gain 21 lbs in his thirties, almost double what he gained when he was in his physical prime, the 20s. He's also closer to 40 than he is 30, and while he may not have accumulated damage/wear and tear as much but it doesn't change the fact that human bodies, no matter how in shape they are right now, certainly is on the downhill by the time you are on the other side of 35. You can be in better shape than others younger than you by comparison, but it is definitely on the downhill and past your personal prime. And the guy he's going to be fighting is not some second tier chump who lucked out on getting a belt at 168 and looking for a cash grab, but the actual best guy in the division and still a legit top P4P dude, like him or not.

I understand he wants the pay day, because money does matter a lot in life. But given legacy, I really think he's got a significantly better shot and realistic chance of cleaning out 154 to be a three division undisputed champ and retire into the sunset than jump up to 168 for a near guaranteed loss and retirement fund for his next three generations.
Bud doesn't have to gain 21 pounds to fight Canelo. He can gain 10 or 15 and still break Canelo's mouth. Ur not realizing Bud punching power isn't regular. He can knock out a much bigger man. Canelo is the same height as Bud and his reach is shorter. He'll be at the end of Bud's punches and he'll be shocked at how hard Bud hits. Canelo will cry and suck his thumb after they fight.

Shakur boosting and talking out his rear end. Canelo is too big for Crawford, end of story, Canelo squashes Bud like a bug. Weight classes, weight classes.

Anywho, this fight is dead in the water now. According to Berto, Crawford's thinking about fighting at Light Middleweight.

Im seeing lot posters here saying Bud would straight outclass and even stop canelo ,while I do agree Bud has the necessary ring IQ and skillset to get the job done there is still big gap in weight and thats always a key factor in these type of superfights. I just hope you guys keep that same attitude and dont make excuses if the ginger gets away with the W considering all that was said regarding Bud superior skillsets which again, is a valid point.
