Extremely annoying subject. They claim they want the fight, yet both sides don't want to explore non-Saudi venues. Which makes the claim bogus. These reporters have no interest in asking Hearn, Finkel, Wilder why it can only happen in the oil-rich country. Annoying subject, annoying reporters covering it, everyone is annoying as F. They don't know what they want.

Wilder or his manager/promoter do not talk about details so it is unclear what their position is. Only Hearn talks and it seems he wants the ME for this. However, It appears from Hearn that Finkle is making contacts and is okay with London or Vegas. However, lately Hearn has moved away from discussing Wilder and says AJ wants to be champ again and mentions the Hrgovic route so it would appear that AJ/Hearn and less keen on this fight. I believe they see an easier route to a vacated belt as more attractive compared to a Wilder fight. Fighting Wilder would mean going for the WBC belt which translates to two tough fights for AJ which they are unsure AJ can win. Going the Hrgovic route means one fight against a much easier opponent and then cash on a mega-Fury (likely) fight as a "belt holder".

I am of the view that AJ/Hearn do not want this fight after the announcement of Fury-Usyk unless it is for crazy Saudi money. I am less inclined that this happens, so Wilder would be better off positioning himself for a title fight too but he needs to get active in boxing, not golf or retire and go for his other interests in life.

There was no proof of funds from anybody please stop lying. That $50 million was just word of mouth from Wilder only. Even Finkel didn't shout that out. Where will they get $50 million from?
