we can pull out his old quotes before the 100 million dollar offer and they would look remarkably similar to the ones he is making now. joshua doesnt want to fight me! i would destroy joshua! they are protecting joshua! lets sit down and make the fight like men etc....so why would anyone believe him now? with zero evidence cept his mouth? in fact the evidence we do have shows hearn and joshua trying to fight wilder in saudia arabia and the fight was almost set until the funding was pulled. doesnt seem like a guy who doesnt want to fight to me, a guy who doesnt want to fight is wilder who doesnt fight, ducked and low-balled ruiz who was guaranteed 40 percent by wbc rules yet wilder's ****** team admitted they only offered 30, joshua in the meantime is just fighting and continuing his career and his resume is already 10 times better than wilders so hard to take him seriously

It is a fact that Wilder turned down an undisputed fight with AJ a few years ago (reason unknown). But he's talking like he wants to fight now, this could catapult the winner back into the number 2 spot instantly.
Very true. The fight can happen tomorrow if they really want it. As Hagler once said, "If I want the fight, I'll even fight you in your living room."

        Deontay just has no options.
No TV deal, no opponents, nothing.

He cant even get a keep busy fight.

He's been reduced to begging AJ/Matchroom as they are literally the only people willing to him.

Should've taken the $100m when it was on the table...

the thing is i dont think pbc/haymon want wilder to fight because his last fight was a massive flop and lost them millions. the live gate and ppv revenue didnt even cover half of wilders purse so wilder not fighting is saving them a lot of money because they cant meet his massive purse demands and i bet hes not willing to take a pay cut therefore he doesnt fight.

They don't know what they want.
Truly annoying topic with useless media's only purpose of covering it is to
elevate, boost, heighten, raise the level of blame games, which does nothing useful.

The subject is so simple. All sides agreed to fight. The Saudis pullled out.
All you need to ask is how much exactly Wilder wants in the fight to make
the fight in Vegas or Wembley. I don't know what is so complicated about it.

If it can't happen in the oil-rich country, then do it somewhere else.
Do it in some oil-rich African country.

i think its pretty obvious based on context clues that the answer is wilder wants too much for the fight to be made in vegas and wembley. the only reason saudis can offer so much money is because they arent trying to turn a profit

Nope remember Wilder said he bet on himself instead of taking the $100M offer in fact he said “All money ain’t good money.”

What does Al Haymon promise these guys?

Seriously even Jermall Charlo, remember Hearn offered him $7 million to face Andrade on DAZN a few years back and he turned it down and has only made 500k since…I’d have a mental breakdown too

So many good fights at heavyweight and it's at the stage where it seems like one has to try and talk another around to it ...Joe Louie would turn in his grave!

i think haymon is just good at tricking them into doing things that arent in their best interest, but are in fact in the best interest of pbc boxing. wilder fighting joshua outside of the pbc wouldnt have netted pbc/haymon a ton of money/recognition. also i dont think wilder is the hardest guy in the world to trick, just going out on a limb here

I’m tired of people saying Wilder should took the 100 million. For the last time he refused that deal because he didn’t want to be DAZN property, besides just ask Canelo how well the DAZN deal worked out for him. They ran into financial issues so that would be another reason not to sign with what was at the time a relatively new streaming service. Maybe Aj should have took the 50 million when Hearn was shown proof of funds. It’s all relative now. Aj seemingly isn’t interested and it’s because he lacks confidence.
