Guys, money will not magically remove any issues you may have. People act as if more money makes a person less of a human. I will say, if you have money, you also have resources to seek help for whatever that you're dealing with but it doesn't mean you don't deal with issues.

Not taking up for Mall but I hate the idea of money solving everything. Nuance is required for these type of conversations. I know some people use mental health as a diversion to skirt accountability (Ben Simmons) but Mall's issues have played out publicly and depending on your mental fortitude, you may or may not be able to push through certain situations. People need to be cognizant of this.

This is it. I have no problem with mental illness/health being the reason for not fighting. Nobody has to fight. The organisations should strip them of titles and rankings though.

It's not for regular schmoes that should be diagnosing mental illness. The courts don't just decide which person is ill and who is not. They summon folks with extensive backgrounds in psychotic behaviors. In Charlo's case it's his fans that provide excuses for him.

It's been "regular schmoes" that's been diagnosing mental illness, not experts in the field. I've never seen or read any of these high profile cases where the subject went into a medical facility to be diagnosed. Fury, for example, didn't want no part of the Klitschko rematch, got spooked, rescheduled the fight feigning injury, got drunk, decided he didn't want it. Regular schmoes diagnosed it as mental illness.
