Comments Thread For: Ryan Garcia Not Sweating Tank Loss: "Didn't Feel At My Best, That's Why The Loss Didn't Sting That Bad"

It never mattered how many times Gervonta Davis warned Ryan Garcia, the widely popular super lightweight contender simply wouldn't listen. For years on end, the 25-year-old told all who would listen that he had what it took to not only beat Davis but to make it look incredibly easy. This past April, he was given the opportunity to prove that he wasn't all talk.

It was dumb to agree to the catchweight and the rehydration clause. De La Hoya tried to prevent that but Ryan wouldn’t listen.

Cryan should've agreed to better terms indeed but I think main difference in skill and experience was also determinant outcome of the fight tbh.

Ryan the same thing will happen if you keep training in your garage like a hillbilly and instead of sparring real fighters you keep thinking punching a reflex bag thinking that’s gonna help.

If Ryan wouldn’t have agreed the fight would’ve never happened.

Only thing that hindered him was that he faced an elite fighter that was levels above him in every aspect of the sweet science in Davis. When his size isn't a factor in his fights, he's an ordinary fighter that just happens to have a big following on the internet. The weight and all that other stuff didn't matter. Davis' skills paid all the bills. Simple as that. Take the L and keep moving on.

Lol like I said before the fight...Tank will walk through Cryan's best shots but Cryan won't be able to handle the incoming fire and will eventually be stopped. After all, there's LEVELS to this game and Cryan is definitely world champ material but Tank is ELITE.

Spence went out like a warrior and made no excuses. Could learn something from your stablemate, Ryan.

This quitter should never be allowed in any big fight again. He may have been at a disadvantage with the weigh thing but it doesn't change the fact that he flat out quit and did a money grab. As for Davis, am still waiting on him to stop cherry picking and fight a legit threat for once in his career. Am sure they can make the Shakur fight if he really wants it.
