The fight is there to make, and Benavidez does have a big win vs Plant 'That is what I think he needed to build the fight vs Alvarez'.

So all the ingredients are there, and I think all he needs to do is keep wining 'And of course make the weight limit, because it is clear that he is weight draining himself big time to fight at 168 pounds'.

Alvarez really is already a proven World Champion, and great fighter 'If he fights Benavidez, and wins? It will just be another top win on his resume'.

Note: It is not really clear what Alvarez's specific targets are now in the game? Bivol rematch at 175, or to take on all comers at 168 pounds? Long as Alvarez is Undisputed Champion at 168 pounds, at some point the pressure will be applied for him to fight Benavidez 'I don't really think there is masses of pressure for this fight to be made'.

I have stated this before? If fighters really want to make fights, then sometimes then need to use some old school tactics 'Benavidez should just confront Alvarez within physical reality, man to man in person' I am not sure why so many fighters who complain about wanting certain fights, don't actually just confront the fighters they wan to challenge' etc.

If Canelo was smart he would try to get Benavidez and Morrell to fight each other for the opportunity to fight him.

Why didn't he gave bivol more money, that afterall he was entitled to it, no he wanted the same terms. Remember that he never pick the rematch option, he let it expired.
lol ok. I’m not mad at no one sir, life’s too good to be mad and worry about why someone did something or didn’t do something. That’s not my mental, sorry not sorry. Rather then complain about what someone else didn’t or did do this or that, I rather appreciate greatness while it’s here.. good day

I picked him for a KO late - i thought many of Hernandez' punches were catching Foster's gloves. Going into Mexico to defend your belts against a local favourite was always going to be tough

He's been mandatory since Dec 2020 and defended it six times. What do you think he's doing?

How many top fighters, like benavidez, has canelo in his resume? Out of curiosity

The fighter who Alvarez has just beaten in his last fight, is a more accomplished and higher level fighter than Benavidez.

Mosley, Cotto are also higher level fighters than Benavidez.

Benavidez is a dangerous fighter at 168 pounds, but skill for skill I don't think he is a elite level fighter.

I don't really rate Alvarez super highly as a all-time great Middle to Super Middle Weight. I have stated before, that I would back Carl Froch & Joe Calzaghe to beat him.

But within today's era of fighters, Alvarez is a great fighter 'And skill for skill, he is a miles more proven fighter than Benavidez'.

Note: I understand what you are trying to say? Benavidez is stylistically a dangerous fight, he is aggressive, puts his punches together. And for now, his weight draining tactics are being managed, but at some point they will start to have negative effect 'History has proven this to be the case with many fighters who use extreme weight draining tactics as fighters'.

It is a good fight to make for Alvarez, and as I have said 'All the ingredients are there, Benavidez I don't think needs to win anymore big fights to be worthy of a title fight. The Plant fight for me was the fight, which Benavidez had to win in order to make the Alvarez fight, a significant fight for Alvarez' etc.

You most be kidding(I have read some of your post, and you seems to know about the sport)Mosley was a least 5 years removed from his prime, he was old, same with cotto, he was lucky to get the crown from another injured and past his prime fighter like garcia, the 160 pounds division had its senior circuit in those days, the reason nobody with a name wanted to fight ggg, even canelo dropped the belt and refused to fight Golovkin. Maybe I didn't use the right sentence, how many fighters at benavidez level and in their prime, has canelo fought? He fought Lara, and looked like a fish out the water, very lucky to escape with a split decision, maybe not luck, one of the refs had the card filled before the first round. Who else? I think bivol, again he got trashed and almost got bailed out again. By the way, charlo was there for the check, he didn't belong in that division and everyone with a brain knew he just didn't have a chance, put him with benavidez or Morell jr and charlo wouldn't see the 12th round.
