Could be true, and even Parker isn't very good at all.

Parker really went 1-1 with a shot Chisora

He was dropped twice by Whyte and lost

He had a very close fight Junior Fa who was stopped in 1 round by Lucas Browne.

Parker isn't some high level fighter. He dined out on a very close decision v Ruiz for a vacant title. Ruiz is arguably the most overrated fighter around, just because he had one good night and lost his titles in the next fight, the rest of his career has been medicore, just like Parker.

        Parker beat Ruiz.

Ruiz easily beat Wilder's best win. Ortiz.

Wilder knocked out Arreola easily. Ruiz struggled with Arreola and got dropped.

Dillian Whyte beat Parker. Parker beat Ruiz. Ruiz beat AJ. AJ beat Whyte and Parker. Whyte beat Parker up worse than AJ could, yet AJ knocked out Whyte. Whyte stopped Chisora. Usyk struggled with Chisora yet he would beat Whyte. Blah blah blah.

Are we just naming random wins and fights thinking it means something significant?

We know these comparisons mean nothing in boxing. Styles make fights and different things happen on different nights.

Ruiz beat the best fighters Wilder beat. Period. Cherry on top, Wilder doesn't have a win as good as Joshua that Ruiz has.

Parker beat Ruiz. Joyce not only beat Parker, he knocked him the fug out.

Hes got heavy hands but hes not a one shot type of guy and (obviously) lacks explosiveness. He gets to people through pressure and volume.

There was nothing I could see in Joyce that made me think he could beat Parker. Parker moves much better, his hand speed is levels better

                and yet
                ParkerJoyce-KO.gif?format=500w.gif

It wasn't just the KO, he was arguably up 8-2 on the cards.

So then I figured he'd bomb out Zhang...wrong again. I clearly do not understand Joe Joyce

Parker got concussed early in that fight with the crown of Whyte's head. That's 1 KD and one foul. Parker is much better than Whyte, at least he was at the time.

it's one of those things where people don't understand, SIZE matters.

it's the most important thing in all of combat sports including boxing. Joyce fought Zhang who is even bigger than him and all of a sudden Joyce's punches were literally bouncing off Zhang.

There is a reason Tyson Fury looks amazing until he fought a super heavy. Even tho that super heavy never boxed a day in his life. he beat up Fury based on sheer size alone.

Fury's entire career is due to his size. his skills are complete non-sense. he was outboxed by many people like Wallin and Cunningham, then he just d****d himself on them to gas them out.
