I don't rate Wood too highly but think he will absolutely wipe Cordina out.
Not enough substance and way too much posing and admiring his own work. I don't see him getting away with that Wood who will be reenergised and probably hitting even harder at the weight.

I had Vazquez up by one, but it was not a robbery. Vazquez should have worked a little more for all 3 minutes of each round. He would do very good, but then back off a little too much. You need to separate yourself from the champion to beat him. He just kept it a little too close.

I knew how it would go cuz every replay seemed to be cordina landing against vazquez. The announcers aren't the judges, but it wasn't my wild guess either..

I don't mind thinking Cordina edged it but only giving Vazquez 4 rounds? Shows he was never getting a decision.
They announced the draw, which was fine enough. But then I said, if the next two scores are wide they def gave it to cordina. Bam.

Vazquez won 7-5 but a draw would've been ok as he did step off at times and he was fighting the promotional favorite. Not that Cordina did much an occasional right hand that was usually parried and a left hook to the body here and there, if this was anywhere but a Matchroom show that would've been a win for Vazquez.

No way Cordina won 8 rds, they just didn't want to ruin Eddie's next big money fight Wood vs Cordina. As chinny as Wood is I think he has enough power to knockout Cordina, he has no defense and is very open for a left hook.

Seems like the Sims gym are being careful now and the power isn't like it was over a year ago..
Cordina was able to stun both Ogawa/Rakhimov with precision punching, but tonight he was trying to use brute force against Vasquez and it didn't work. It was obvious throughout the fight that Cordina was getting frustrated because he couldn't hurt Vasquez, and it was negatively affecting his performance. He got a gift tonight. I saw Vasquez/Ford and felt Ford got a gift too, so I'm not surprised at how well Vasquez performed. I can't even say that I'm 100% surprised at how flat Cordina looked, because he didn't look great at the weigh-in.

I wouldn't count Foster or Rocky out against Vaquero

They both took a lot from their War last week. Rocky finally went past 5 rounds for the first time and Foster learned how to come from behind and get the W after going to hell and back.

Both give Navarrette a great fight!

Now we see why Joe wants not parts of Shock Foster or even Vaquero.

I want to agree, but Vaquero has been working the B class himself. Outside of Dbo who has he fought? He seems short on ambition.

Vazquez was only just pipped and looked a division lower , decent fight .Joe wants to stay put and pursue Woods.
