He looked like the same sloppy, clumsy fatso as ever. He just wasn't fighting Dereck Chisora.

He may have to lose some weight and bring back his old movement/boxing style to try to keep Usyk at distance. We'll see, but this fight will drag out into the spring now.
Fury is going lose his mind on ******* and will retired again for 3 years. He will return (triumphantly, according to his fans) in 3 years as the still technically undefeated, lineal HW champion to resume his ATG career with an 8 round superfight against Dereck Chisora.

You think Fury would let himself get dominated dropped & almost lose to a novice boxer then postpone his next fight in order to look soft to Usyk?
          Lololololol
          You Fury Fanboys are Hilarious
No I don’t think that at all. I’m not a fan of fury. I hope usyk whoops his ass. Let me elaborate. But first I’ll answer your questions then tell you what I meant, no I do not think fury let himself get dominated and almost get knocked out. However that did happen. My point is what has happened and him saying he trained for 12 weeks and didn’t take nganou lightly after the fact. That part. He didn’t seem like he had a 12 week camp so by his performance and saying he did train hard, he is trying to mind phuck usyk… I think. So usyk can say “wow this might be easier then I thought” and maybe take fury lightly himself. Hope that makes sense

Barring definitive evidence to the contrary , I'm taking Fury at his word that he trained for as long as he says he did. If he's not going to use the excuse of not training, I'm not going to use it for him either.
Although I do suspect that Shakur is right.

ngannou is still a bit of an unknown factor in this, if he causes problems for another heavy boxer u could say fury just faced a tough opponent he wasnt really ready for or his style didnt match up well to ngannou who was strong and solid, fury cant bully him, only fury and his camp know what shape fury was actually in for that fight, id say ngannou just surprised him with his strength and endurance and fury as a bit thrown off by it and under pressure and he got dropped too so was wary of him, it must be fairly tough to prepare for a guy u have never seen box but looks big strong and u are a big fav to beat him, thats mentally pretty tough place and build up i would say

All Fury had to do was Google Ngannou, to see that he can punch. I'm sure he did, that's why he made the fight with him. Tyson just let his ego and laziness get the best of him, and thus failed to prepare properly for Francis.

                .

The thing is, Fury claimed he trained "as hard as he could." That's a play on words. Just how hard did he feel he could train? If he really trained hard, he would look like it and would not have come in at a career high, looking very fat and flabby.

He did train, you just don't know how hard or smart he trained.

It's more psychological, in that he and I think his camp underestimated Ngannou.

I don't believe that Fury trained for 12 weeks either, he looked like a fat, no muscle tone, goofy slob.
By the way I've always thought those things about Fury, while also knowing that he had superior boxing skills, could punch, take a punch, had great recovery, and has a tremendous heart.
He got taught a severe lesson for arrogantly not taking Ngannou seriously, and he found himself one hell of a competitive fight, if they ever rematch Nganno can possibly beat him.
