Porter too. PBC deals don’t seem that hard to get out of. I think most fighters just choose to stay with Al cause he’s the best advisor/manager in the business.

Most PBC fighters have never seemed too bothered about fighting once a year

So it'll really depend on which broadcaster they get after Showtime

As long as its a decent broadcaster and the PBC fighters get their one fight a year in, I think they'll stay on board.

Seems many of them got stranded. Many of them may have known about it (Sho exiting boxing), but didn't really take it seriously. You know, being able to fight once a year will make you complacent. They'll beg for fights eventually when clock starts ticking for them. Meaning, when they're running out of cash.

How much are these fighters making per fight, to wait a year between bouts?

I'd assume that they are under exclusive contracts.

Some of them, if not many, are supposed to be announcing their next fights, which are overdue. 3 - 4 months after your last fight without scheduled fight is just not a good feeling for a fighter in this sport. Unless they can afford to.

Guys like Adames, Thurman, Garcia, Lara, Stanionis, Jaron Ennis, Spence rematch with Crawford, and other 2nd tier guys.

Guys like Adames probably $250K - $350K per fight. Yeah, some are content making those kinds of figures. 2 to 3 months of working in the gym per year. Not bad.

You don't make it to those levels and then lay around for the rest of the 9 months once you get there.

These fighters are in the gym year round, maybe a short break here or there.

If they do lay around for 9 months we'll have a bunch of Fury fights in our future (only speaking of his last bout doe).

                Boxing, it's what you do.

Nobody knows what they do for the rest of the year. Carlos Adames' last fight was five months ago, just an example.

He seems okay with still having no scheduled fight yet. Haven't read anything he's complaining about it. So...

I dont understand since Youtube boxing is so popular why some of these promotions dont collab with these channels? I understand cash cows arent going to be on youtube but up and comers could definitely get their names out there. Fights at the Playboy mansion by popular youtubers would do well Im guessing.

Two things need to happen for that to be so

                      1. They start ripping off their signed boxers like Top Rank does.
                      2. They stop getting deals with Showtime or whatever other service that puts on boxing events for viewership.

If those two things happen, then yes, their stable will begin to thin out. Unless they go fully defunct they will always have some boxers but for the most part, that needs to happen first.
